When our Amish friends left the State of Indiana, our source of delicious sourdough bread left as well. That sad event was the beginning of a search for a sourdough replacement. While our friends can’t be replaced, we have replaced their sourdough bread and offer an expanded selection.

While it is hard to beat an all-purpose flour sourdough bread after it has been toasted and covered with butter (and honey/cinnamon), we also offer a Whole Wheat mix, Crusty Semolina, Portuguese Broa (think sourdough with added cornmeal), Blackstrap Molasses Rye, and Crusty Kamut.

Our artisan sourdough typically uses high hydration and long fermentation times. The boules are baked in cast iron dutch ovens, the batards are baked on stones or cast iron, while the loaves are baked in standard loaf pans (some are cast iron).

Each one is hand made, so quantities are limited. All of our sourdough offerings use organic and non-GMO ingredients.

We are a Home Based Vendor located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

These products are home produced and processed and the production area has not been inspected by the State Department of Health.
